Our systems automatically take a daily backup of all hosting accounts. We retain 3 months of backups of each account. These backups include your entire cPanel hosting account including all files, emails, databases and settings.

Downloading an automatic backup:
1 – Login to your cPanel
2 – Go to Files ➜ JetBackup
3 – In JetBackup click Full Backup. You will see a list of available stored backups.
4 – To download a backup click the Generate Download button for the backup you want to download.
5 – Click Add to Download Queue.
6 – Click the Download/Restore in Progress (Click for Queue) button.
7 – You will see the download of your backup is being prepared. Once the status changes from Pending to Completed you are then ready to download. Click the Go Back button then click on the Full Backup button.
8 – You will see the link “Download” is now available next to the backup you selected. Click the Download button to save the backup file to your computer.
9 – Once your download to your computer is complete you can safely click Delete backup. This will prevent your hosting account disk space from filling up with unnecessary file storage.
Restoring an automatic backup:
1 – Login to your cPanel
2 – Go to Files ➜ JetBackup
3 – In JetBackup click Full Backup. You will see a list of available stored backups.
4 – To restore a backup click the Restore button for the backup you want to download.
5 – On the next screen you will need to confirm you understand that the restored account will overwrite the current one. You can also enter your email address to be notified once account is restored.
6 – Click the Restore button to start the restore process.
