You can check if SSL is installed on a domain by typing the domain into a web browser and including an “s” in the http part of the URL, for example https://mydomain.com.au and check if the little padlock image appears before the domain name in the web browser address bar.
You can click on the Padlock to view if the Certificate appears as Valid.
Even if there is no Padlock and it says Insecure, the SSL may still be installed. Click Insecure to view if the Certificate appears as Valid.
If it says Insecure and the Certificate appears as Valid, means that there are files within the webpage that are not using the “s” in their URL address. You will need to identify those files and add the “s” to the http part of the file URL. For help on how to identify the insecure files see our FAQ: My website still says “Not Secure”
